Some try using 3rd party money exchange companies, which is also okay, but go with reputed FX money transfer companies, not the shady kind. The risk with shady businesses is that the money being wired into your US account could be coming from various different sources and the audit trail will be broken, it will not all converge to your original amount back in the PH.
