Is there a global online directory of banks?

SWIFT offers a global directory of SWIFT Member Banks, but this is not available to the general user, it is only available to SWIFT Members.

Other than this, a truly global directory of each and every Bank and its branches worldwide is not available (to the best of my knowledge).
